Liverpool Golf Club takes great pride in nurturing young talent through its comprehensive kids golf program. Located in the Fairfield, Bankstown, Liverpool, and Greater West area, our club has a strong legacy of producing high-calibre senior players who began their golfing journey as junior members at Liverpool. Building Champions:

Liverpool Golf Club has been instrumental in shaping the careers of notable players who have gone on to achieve success in professional golf. Prominent examples include current USPGA tour member Matt Jones, former NSW state captain Tristan Lambert, and state player Brad McIntosh, all of whom began their golfing journey as junior members at Liverpool. Our kids golf club has also produced several young players who have joined the Australian PGA ranks, becoming touring professionals or club professionals.

 

The Junior Golf Academy:

Liverpool Golf Club's Junior Golf Academy is committed to providing a structured and progressive learning experience for aspiring young golfers. Our success lies in our collaboration with the U.S. Kids Golf Learning Program, a proven method that introduces golf to young players. The program follows a three-level approach, starting with basic skills development and gradually increasing in difficulty as players progress. Coaches and parents are provided with Level 1, 2, and 3 booklets, which serve as a framework for monitoring and assisting player development.

 

Structured Learning and Achievements:

The booklets utilized in our kid’s golf program offer comprehensive instruction and examples of forms and skills necessary for each level. Five core areas, namely Putting, Around the Green, Full Swing, Knowledge, and Scoring, have designated checkpoints to track progress. As players successfully complete each checkpoint, they earn achievement pins, providing a tangible incentive for advancement. To pass each level, players must demonstrate their skills by playing nine holes from a distance of at least 1,500 yards (Level 1 Tees on a Family Course) and meeting specific scoring requirements. Certificates are awarded upon completion of each level, recognizing the players' dedication and progress.
